Driven to address growing threats of substandard wires, West African manufacturer, Cutix Plc has unveiled new  fire-resistant product in the Nigerian cable  market  valued at over N200 billion annually.

Headquartered in Nnewi, Anambra State, the firm is reaffirming its commitment to reshaping local cable and wire manufacturing landscape through innovations that blend safety, infrastructure resilience, and industrial growth.

It stressed that its latest officially tagged Halogen‑Free Flame Retardant (HFFR) insulation technology, is designed to prevent fire outbreaks in homes and offices.

“Unlike cables with inflammable additives and lead insulators, Cutix’s HFFR insulator starves active flames of fuel, extinguishing them naturally within seconds and preventing fire spread beyond 250 millimetres”, the firm informed.

Speaking on the new addition, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the company, Uche Igbokwe said it was designed out of the firm’s dedication to maintaining global manufacturing standards.
